Our feast of St Martin is our Association's charity night, wherein we donate profits from the years fund raising activities, including dinner dance nights like the Feast of St Martin. Our association does not have a strict criteria in determining the charities although we consider the target group of the particular charity with influence on the aged or the young and we also separately consider organisations that do not get mainstream government funding. We regularly support Italian organisations such as Canossa Retirement Village, CO.AS.IT and the Scalabriniani Brotherhood for their courageous work in our community.

The charities are selected from nominations by members of the Association during August/September of the same year. The committee then undertakes the final selection and notifies the particular charities and asks for a representative to be present at the feast night.

The charity is asked to address our members on their organisation's mission, achievements and current objectives. The charities supported over the past few financial years are on our Activities page.
